In Famous Dance and Drama, we have started exploring the intersection between drama and dance, making pieces combining the two. We have continued to learn famous dances from artists such as Britney Spears and The Greatest Showman, or choreographed work together, such as for Catwoman. We have worked on performance skills such as smiling while dancing and having fun.

E Disco – the EDisco group loves to make song requests and we play as much requested music as we can. Favourites include Cliff Richard, The Beatles, and The Backstreet Boys. We love to play ‘Music Trivia’, and occasionally a dance game. We like to play challenging games like only using assigned nicknames for everyone for the session, or picking a dance move and assigning a number to it, and when a “code” sequence of 3 numbers is called out, we have to do the dance moves in the order the numbers were called out.

Zumba – we enjoy dancing to all sorts of music -from such as Jason Derulo and Coldplay, older tunes such as The Moody Blues, and The Beatles. We love doing well known dances such as Hot Potato, The Chicken Dance, and The Hokey Pokey and we love to stretch together.

In E Hang – we continue to play favourites such as the New York Times Wordle, and ‘Two Truths One Lie’. A new addition has been the game “Worldle”, where we guess the country from a silhouette and then go on to answer questions about language, landmarks, bordering countries etc. It has begun to increase our knowledge of geography, language, history and politics. We also like to play challenging memory/mind games like having alternate names for everyone for the session, or trying to recall all the answers from today’s EHang at the end of a session.
